The last step before moving in??

July 9-28, 2008 Volunteer Rebuilding
New Orleans East, Plum Orchard Neighborhood

Wider Circle is currently working in New Orleans, Louisiana, to help a neighborhood come back! Three years after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and many people are still struggling along the Road Home and in rebuilding their lives and homes.

Wider Circle volunteers are working together with the McCall Family and other neighbors to:
Finish home repairs (framing, drywalling, and painting)
Construct ramp for side door entry
    Construct stairs for front entry
Remediation, debris removal, and neighborhood clean-up
Reach out to those abandoned after Hurricane Katrina

Please check back to the website as we add photos and updates from July 2008. Visit the the blog to learn what's happening right now. Go to the blog

Wider Circle needs your support. Donations support project needs (tools and materials) and volunteer activities (transport to job site, safety, lunch). No donations are used for staff salaries; personel travel to/from New Orleans; nor lodging.
